We stopped on our drive to Inverness, no tour or tickets. Just popped in for a tasting and a cocktail. Bar staff was awesome and there is a small cafe to get pastries or espresso if you need an afternoon pick up.

Visited on a road trip of the Highlands, unfriendly staff, weren't interested unless I was booking a tour which is a shame as I was going to buy two bottles but decided to save my money for a different distillery which actually values my custom.
I was hoping there would be some interest in the Dewar name and its origins but was met with indifference. Ah well their loss, corporate tourist trap best avoided, lots of other better distilleries to visit.

Excellent experience on the tour today with our guide Rebecca!! She was very engaging, knowledgeable and excellent in her presentation of all the information. Everything was explained brilliantly and in comparison to other distillery tours we have done it was easy to understand and follow the whisky making process from start to finish so easily. Thoroughly enjoyed our tour and would recommend whether you like whisky or not. Thanks Rebecca for such a great afternoon 😊

Had an amazing experience at the Aberfeldy Distillery! Our guide, Craig, was fantastic—he made the tour engaging and easy to follow, explaining the Aberfeldy scotch-making process with great clarity and enthusiasm. Touring the facility was both educational and enjoyable. Tasting options offered by our guide were a real highlight, allowing us to sample and appreciate the whiskies before deciding on a purchase. Highly recommend visiting for anyone who loves whisky or is simply curious about how it’s made! Thanks to our guide Craig for making it a memorable experience to visit to my favourite Scotch distillery.

Fantastic tour, we visited over the weekend (Nov 8th 2024) and thoroughly enjoyed the visit.
Our tour guide, Craig, was brilliant, very knowledgeable, he was entertaining but his passion, not just for whisky but for the whole process of making it really came through. I'd recommend this tour for anyone, even if you're not so keen on whisky.

We are not whisky drinkers, but they do have a lovely cafe. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. We had scones with cream and jam and a pot of tea. Yummy.

We just visited the shop and the bar. But both were good!
Unfortunately not dog friendly in either of these areas. Otherwise would have spent longer in the bar I'm sure!

Great service and route planned. Felt a little rushed, but still had all the opportunities to ask questions and discuss. Beautiful place and truly unique experience. Highly recommend even if you are a driver, they are well prepared for this eventuality as well.

It was a pleasure meeting you, and the guided Tour was great.
Though we had hoped to be able to take a look at the storage with all the casks, we loved the Distillery itself and tried some delicious whiskys.
Dewars 21 and 32 were our favorites.
Great memories were made that day.

Of the 26 distilleries we have visited, the Dewar's Aberfeldy Distillery was one of the most outstanding. It is beautifully situated in old, venerable buildings, in a park-like setting with remarkable trees. The visitor centre is spacious, inviting and modern, offering a pleasant atmosphere. The staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The best conditions, therefore, for a serious and in-depth tasting.
The whiskies from the Aberfeldy Distillery are characterised by an accessible, mild and elegant style that appeals to both beginners and experienced connoisseurs. The whiskies are fundamentally fine, well-balanced and have an appealing sweetness with a wide range of honey and fruit notes. They are soft and complex, without excessive smoke or sharp flavours. It is exciting to discover the differences in the maturation in different casks (bourbon, sherry, red wine, Madeira, etc.), which give each whisky its own individual character.

One of the best experiences and most complete tours I've ever taken; my wife and I took part in the full tour with tasting, and we were astonished by the professionalism, knowledge and treatment of the staff, and also very impressed with the maintenance of the equipment there.
Prices are a bit elevated which is Worth it considering the experience. They have a wonderful bar with plenty of local taste, and also a very complete shop.
At the end of the tour, as promised, we were given small bottles with accurate label info, which I kept as souvenirs.
